30 DAYS PLASTIC WASTE-FREE CHALLENGE –
#FACT: THE WORLD RECYCLES JUST 14% OF THE PLASTIC PACKAGING IT USES. 8 TONS OF PLASTICS, MUCH OF IT PACKAGING, ENDS UP IN THE OCEANS EACH YEAR, WHERE SEA LIFE AND BIRDS DIE FROM EATING IT. THE FISH, SHRIMP AND ANY OTHER SEA FOOD THAT WE CONSUME MAY BE ONE OF THE ANIMALS THAT HAS BEEN AFFECTED BY PLASTIC WASTE.
The Green Team invites everyone; students, teachers, staff and parents of Semarang Multinational School to join our 30 days Plastic Waste-Free Challenge. We will start the challenge on February 1st, 2018. We will be keeping an eye out around the school everyday and will give a badge to those who succeed with the 30 day challenge. It’s not just about the prize but the changes you can make to show how we care about our home, planet earth. In case we miss something, please come and tell the Green Team the ways you are carrying out the 30 days challenge and we can award you a badge.
