Justine Hitchcock is an experienced educator from New Zealand who is loving her life in Indonesia with the Semarang Multinational School family as Teaching Principal and Reception class teacher. Justine attended Massey University where she graduated in 2001 with a Masters degree in Education, specializing in Gifted Education. Her passion for education has given her experience in many areas, including classroom teaching, school management, policy development and tertiary lectureship. After her beginning experiences as a classroom teacher in Auckland, Justine was employed by the Ministry of Education as part of a team that conducted the revision of New Zealand’s National Curriculum. From there she became the Teaching Principal at Moriah College, a small primary school in Wellington, New Zealand. Her most recent role was at Te Whare Wananga of Awanuiarangi, an indigenous university, where she was a senior lecturer on their Bachelor of Education programme. She has a deep joy for learning, and loves sharing this with the students and community at Semarang Multinational School.
